What books cost

One price per book. That’s the whole model.

The app costs nothing. The account costs nothing. A book costs what it says on its page, once, and then it’s in your library whether you open it tonight or in four years.

Questions people actually ask

Is there a subscription?+

No. There is no membership, no credit system and no trial to remember to cancel. The app and the account are free, and you pay once for each book you want.

Do I keep the books?+

Permanently. A book you buy stays in your library and stays downloadable for as long as the account exists — whether you listen tonight or in four years.

Can I hear the narration before I buy?+

Yes — every book has a free sample from the real recording, so you can hear the narrator before you decide.

Why do prices differ between books?+

Length and licensing. A seven-hour novel costs us less to license and produce than a twenty-two-hour history, so it costs you less.

Can I listen offline?+

Yes. Download any book in the app and listen with no connection; your progress syncs back when you’re online.
