Delete your account & data

You can permanently delete your LongformU account and the personal data associated with it at any time. There are two ways to do it.
Delete in the app
- Open the LongformU app and sign in.
- Tap the account icon (top right of your Library).
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
Your account is closed immediately and your data is removed as described below.
Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email hello@longformu.com from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account.” We'll verify the request and complete the deletion, and confirm by email.
What gets deleted
- Your account and profile (email and display name).
- Your playback progress and “Continue listening” history.
- Your bookmarks and notes.
- Your quiz results and completion certificates.
What we may retain
We may keep a minimal record of past purchases where required for accounting, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations. These records are not used to identify you within the app and are retained only as long as the law requires.
